Worth the wait


I'm sorry to all of my many, many dedicated readers for taking such a long hiatus, but midterms and preparing for Transgender Awareness Week have consumed my life up to this point, but I'm happy to report I'll be posting more often now.

With that said, here is a pretty set list of fabulous week-long Trans events taking place next week! Tell you friends, go to events, make it sucessfull! And keep in mind, I will in fact be performing in drag at the DLP drag show on Friday ;)

Monday, 11/12: The Transgender Monologues (Memorial Union Play Circle, 7pm)
Tuesday, 11/13: Trans on Campus disccusion forum (Liz Waters, 6:30pm)
Arm-band making social (Campus Women's Center, 8:30pm)
Wednesday, 11/14: Speaker, Jessica Janiuk (1641 Humanities, 7pm)
Thursday, 11/15: Transgender Day of Remembrance (All day)
Remembrance rally, featuring Anne Enke and Tangled Up in Blue (TITU, 5pm)
Candlelight vigil (State St. Mall, 8:30pm) followed by hot chocolate reception (Campus Women's Center) -- Dress warmly!

Friday, 11/16: Delta Lambda Phi Drag Show & Queer Performances (3650 Humanities, 8pm)
Saturday, 11/17: Queer Self-defense Workshop (Villari's on State St., 2pm)
Saturday 11/17: Trans Film Festival (Memorial Union Play Circle, 7pm) -- Featuring "The Aggressives" and "Ma Vie en Rose"
